大阪城ののら猫 (Homeless cats at Osaka Castle)
I love visits to Osaka. Yujiro’s parents treat me just like family, and I feel like I can just relax when I am there. They love walking and so do I, so we walk all over Osaka. Every night towards midnight we go to Osaka Castle to feed the hundred some homeless cats that live there…
It is so calming and the cats are beginning to recognize me! It’s amazing, because the first cat we always see when we go to the castle is りょ君 and he ignores all of the other people at the castle, but when he hears Yuji’s parent’s voices, he comes running!
My favorite cat as of now is でぶ (Japanese slang for fatso)…he is seriously the most obese cat I have ever seen…but he is so soft and he doesn’t run away when I pet him…
They are already starting to get out the Christmas decorations in Osaka which makes me excited because it reminds me of last Christmas! I can’t wait to walk through all of the lights again and get Christmas cake!
I also love Osaka because Yuji’s parents don’t stop feeding me…
